Marco Troncone graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples – Federico II
and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi. After twelve
years' experience at AT Kearney, a US multinational strategy consulting firm, particularly in the
areas of strategic development, organisation and M&A in the Infrastructure, Energy and
Telecommunications sectors, he worked for Sintonia SA from 2009 to 2011 managing
infrastructure investments at an international level. He joined Aeroporti di Roma at the end of
2011, initially dealing with Strategic Planning and Relations with the Board, subsequently
becoming Chief Financial Officer and coordinating the assets of the Group and airport
development strategies in Italy and abroad. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of
Aeroporti di Roma in April 2020. He is also Vice President of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur,
elected Vice President of Infrastructure for Growth of Unindustria and a member of the board
of Airport Council International (ACI) Europe. Chairman of the Foundation for the
Decarbonisation of Air Transport established in December 2023.
