Bastiaan works with frontrunners in the aviation industry to navigate EU policy and regulatory landscapes, helping to define the right conditions for zero-emission airports and clean aviation.
He has a background in the energy and transport sectors, with recent experience as General Counsel at the European airports association in Brussels. Besides being board advisor, he is a guest researcher at the International Institute of Air & Space Law (IIASL) on the nexus of aviation and energy transitions.
