Michael Stanton-Geddes is the Director of Economics & Competition for Airports Council International – EUROPE, based in Brussels, Belgium. Michael leads ACI EUROPE’s work on airport economics, economic regulation, traffic reporting and forecasting, connectivity, and the economic benefits of aviation and airports to their local communities.

Prior to joining ACI EUROPE, Michael worked on aerospace and aviation industry research and policy analysis at Fleishman-Hillard, the International Trade Commission, and GE. He also was an economic consultant on international trade and energy policy to the World Bank. Michael started his aviation career working on security policy in Washington, DC in 2004 advising on public communication related to biometrics in airport security, and subsequently supported the Enviro.aero campaign for the Air Transport Action Group (ATAG).
