Christian Schramm is acting as Vice President Transport Infrastructure with KfW IPEX Bank, a leading financier for structured export and infrastructure finance globally with an infrastructure portfolio of ca. EUR 18 bn, thereof ca. EUR 2.5 bn in airports alone.
He focuses on export and infrastructure financings as well as Public Private Partnership (PPP) advisory for port, airport, mobility and road projects in Europe and Asia.
Christian has over fifteen years of international transport infrastructure experience and a strong transaction track record across the banking, airport and consulting sectors. Prior to joining KfW IPEX-Bank’s transport infrastructure team, he has held several positions in leading public and private institutions such as KfW DEG (development financial institution in emerging markets), Roland Berger (Infrastructure & PPP Advisory), Fraport AG (Airport Finance/ M&A) and DZ Bank AG (Infrastructure Private Equity).
Christian holds a master’s degree in economics & public policy from Columbia University, New York and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, Germany. Christian is also a certified Aviation Management Professional (AvMP) with IATA/ Stanford University and a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
