With more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, Lutz has not only developed extensive expertise in airport privatization, strategic airport development and master planning, but also gained a comprehensive understanding of financial processes and business planning.
Lutz started his career as an independent architect and worked on various international projects. Then, in 2000, he co-founded Airport Design Management and set up offices in Vienna and Berlin. After 11 successful years, Lutz decided to focus on strategic airport development and founded the company amd.sigma - which became a subsidiary of Munich Airport International (MAI) in 2019.
After managing several global projects together with experts from Munich Airport International, Lutz Weisser has taken over the position of Managing Director at MAI in 2022 and aims to further expand Munich Airport's presence in the areas of management, consulting and training worldwide.
